Our main goal is to undertake educational projects of interest to the Sikh community and of benefit to humanity as a whole. We are a self-funded organisation and have been financing & managing a variety of projects since the early 1980's. Our major projects at this time are featured below.

Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Project

A series of events and programmes to celebrate the tri-centenery of Baba Banda Singh Bahadur's establishment of the 1st Khalsa Raj.


Guru_Granth_Sahib_restoration_project

Restoration of Guru Granth Sahib Ji

The Sikh Education Council worked with The British Library to restore an initial four Guru Granth Sahib Ji birs at a self-financing cost of £16,000.

Currently a work in progress, the Sachi Bani website is a 'Gurbani-only' media hub for musical, oratory and scholarly content.
