Sikh Sunehan - Quarterly Publication

Sikh Sunehan is a quarterly offering of thought-provoking and informative articles from the Sikh Education Council.  First published in the late 1980’s, Sikh Sunehan was one of the first UK based journal-magazines to publish research and scholarly writings from a distinctly Sikh perspective.

As a pioneer in organising Gurmat Summer Camps for young people across the UK, the Sikh Education Council had little trouble in sourcing a variety of articles, reviews and literary pieces from learned people both here and abroad.  A successful print run continued for many years with an international circulation, until tightening budgets restricted the quarterly to an annual edition, followed by an indefinite hiatus.

In 2009, we were pleased to introduce the Sikh Sunehan once again to old and new readers alike, from the casual browser to the dedicated research scholar.  Our return will be steady and gradual as can be seen from the size of the first few editions, but we are sure that you will find the content to be of contemporary relevance and more importantly, a valuable resource to open the channels of dialogue within Sikhdom.  Whether you are a devoted student of Sikh ideology, an occasional dabbler in Sikh history, or just inquisitive about Sikh practices, we are sure you will find that the Sikh Sunehan brings you a slice of Divine inspiration with each season of the year.
